Dave,
Sorry to hear you had an issue with your Contacts. The Lucid Development
version is being updated rapidly. Is this still an issue for you? If so could
you please try the following and let us know the results. Open a Terminal
(Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and enter the following commands.

1. killall beam.smp ; killall beam ; evolution --force-shutdown

2. rm ~/.config/desktop-couch/desktop-couchdb.ini (this just remooves a
config file that will be regenerated. No data will be harmed)

3. dbus-send --session --dest=org.desktopcouch.CouchDB --print-reply
--type=method_call / org.desktopcouch.CouchDB.getPort

4. /usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-2.28

Then open evolution and try to access the Ubuntu One contacts. If
unsuccesful, hopefully some clue to the problem was output to the
Terminal. Could you post that here. After you do please set your bug
status back to 'New'. The status of a bug report can be modified by
clicking on the current status in the yellow line, which will reveal a
sub menu. You can then set a new status in the drop down box.

thank you,
duanedesign
