I have used the new system to connect, and it did not work, that is why
I had issued the bug report...

Is there any test I can try, any log files I can send? Can my process to
sync be some how wrong or incomplete? Could some other package or
program be interfering with the ubuntuone access?

There is no indication on the panel if we are connected or not, what
seems to me like a step back in the process... the status given by the
cloud was useful... if there is no intention to leave the cloud there,
there should at least have some other means of telling the user what is
going on.
