Public bug reported:

Network manager applet on Feisty.

I left-click on it, and see the 10 wireless networks in my
neighbourhood, and their signal strengths.

Against some of the networks, there's a curious half-red blob. It looks
like nothing I can identify.

I click on one of these networks, and after I while I'm presented with a
dialog asking me for credentials to connect to that network. The dialog
has a familiar "padlock" symbol, and no sign of the red blob symbol.
When I see the "padlock" I immediately understand that I'm involved into
connecting to a network that needs a key to unlock it.

So, the bug is twofold:

1. The symbols for "network that requires authentication" in the network
manager applet and in subsequent dialogs should be consistent with each
other.

2. The half-red blob symbol doesn't look to me like it has anything to
do with the need for authentication.
