Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: checkbox
Since latest checkbox update (well, previous versions did run, but ended
in a bad crash at report sending time...) checkbox won't start in KDE
anymore.
When starting checkbox I get a KDE prompt for administrative password,
then checkbox hangs forever at "Gathering information from your system"
step.
ps fax shows there's a zombie kdesudo process that checkbox did't
process, and that's probably (I guess) the KDE admin password prompt.
i.e.:
5816 ? S 0:00 \_ /bin/bash /usr/bin/checkbox-gtk
5818 ? Sl 0:02 \_ python /usr/share/checkbox/run
/usr/share/checkbox/configs/checkbox-gtk.ini
5822 ? Z 0:01 \_ [kdesudo] <defunct>
