Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mscore

Been testing latest unstable revisions (now on 2645), and I can only get
audio once every four or five startups when using Portaudio/ALSA as my
sound setup. Using the ALSA audio option does not work at all. I'm on
Karmic.

Every once in a while, I get this (though sometimes audio does not work
and I don't get this):

Expression 'SetApproximateSampleRate( pcm, hwParams, sr )' failed in
'src/hostapi/alsa/pa_linux_alsa.c', line: 1294
Expression 'PaAlsaStreamComponent_InitialConfigure( &self->playback, outParams,
self->primeBuffers, hwParamsPlayback, &realSr )' failed in
'src/hostapi/alsa/pa_linux_alsa.c', line: 1873
Expression 'PaAlsaStream_Configure( stream, inputParameters, outputParameters,
sampleRate, framesPerBuffer, &inputLatency, &outputLatency, &hostBufferSizeMode
)' failed in 'src/hostapi/alsa/pa_linux_alsa.c', line: 1994
ScoreView::setOffset

This lack of sound also causes Musescore to hang if I try to exit it.

** Affects: mscore (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
