Even with ubuntu 10.4 beta 1, the problem isn't fixed... but I managed
to do working microphone in karmic by adding this line in
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel model=lenovo-ms7195-dig
options snd-hda-intel model=fujitsu-xa3530
however skype's sounds are sometimes bad.
