Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-openchrome
Version 0.2.903+svn713 distributed with Karmic 9.10 is unstable for the
VIA P4M890 chip. Switching to console and back to X blanks the screen.
Resuming from suspend blanks the screen. The screen get randomly
corrupted. Often the screen blanks as soon as X starts. As an added
bonus, the electricsheep screensaver doesnopt work in full screen,, but
only in the upper left corner.
I solved these problems by downgrading to 0.2.903+svn758-0ubuntu1.
