My kernel stopped upgrading somehow. I don't know how to figure out what's
"keeping it back".
Help on the "has been kept back" message mentions two options without a way to
figure out
which is the case.
getafix:~> sudo apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
linux-generic linux-headers-generic linux-image-generic ntfs-3g
system-config-printer-common ubuntu-desktop
The following packages will be upgraded:
xpdf xpdf-common xpdf-reader
3 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 6 not upgraded.
Need to get 596kB of archives.
After this operation, 1,098kB disk space will be freed.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]?
