Hi Jeremy

I just tried again to suspend my machine, with a bunch of programs
running (Eclipse, Firefox, amsn, skype, nautilus, among others) and it
hanged out again. It looks to me that It didn't enter the suspended
state (it didn't light the moon led). Sometimes the suspend work,
specially after a fresh start.

I ran the apport-collect command twice. The second one was right after
the machine hanged up and I reboot it the hard way.

I also tried installing one of the kernels in the Mainstream link you
sent me, but I couldn't get it to compile the modules I'm using (nvidia,
virtualbox, among others). I tried with 2.6.34-999-generic, installing
both the linux-image and the linux-headers packages, but it just said
failed when trying to build the modules.

I would consider installing one of the development versions of Ubuntu,
but in this moment is impossible for me, and right in the middle of my
semester and I can't spend that much time in this issue. If I can help
in any other way, please let me know
