Thanks. So it doesn't crash any more, and the offset is correct, hmm. At the time when this crashed you apparently had a /dev/sdb device, i. e. an USB stick, camera, and the like. Apparently you tried to change a partition, in the "Disk Utility" perhaps? What were you trying to do at that time?
