Using xubuntu feisty Herd 5 released 16 March 07
kernel version 2.6.20-11.18 (specifically linux-image-2.6.20-11-powerpc)
Booting the kernel with any of the default options results in results in
Xorg failure followed by system lockup. If the kernel is booted with
'single' kernel parameter and X is started from the console then the X
fails as per attached "xorg log 0". If the kernel is booted with
'video=ofonly' kernel parameter (which gives unknown stanza from init),
X successfully starts with errors as seen in attached "xorg log 1".
xorg.conf and the output of lspci are also attached.
