This seems to be strictly an issue with ishares.com. If you use the firefox User Agent Switcher add-on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59 and pretend to be Internet Explorer, then the site renders fine. So evidently, ishares.com have some kind of browser-sniffing code in their website, that simply refuses to talk to "unsupported" browsers. This is EXTREMELY pointless and irritating, as standards-compliant browsers do not need "support." It would be worth sending them the occasional e-mail requesting that this pointless anti-feature be dropped. In any case, not a FF or Ubuntu problem. ** Changed in: firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- Can't load ishares.com https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/451248 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
