Do you see this with a more recent release? 9.04 final, 9.10 or 10.04 betas? Is your hardware clock set to UTC or localtime? Do you choose any language or timezone settings during start up? Are you connected to the Internet?
Also can you open a terminal (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal) and run: date TZ=UTC date Paste the output of those commands here as well as the correct time when those commands are ran. -- Clock settings wrong for Jönköping, Sweden.
