this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work,
I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.
I can confirm this happens on hardware, using Lucid up to date as of
2010-04-09. The equipment used is: 2.2 GHz Athlon 64; 3GB RAM; NVidia
G84 [GeForce 8600GT] PCI-E Video w/512MB. I have not seen this on the
386 system.
