my last update here, on my computer the update restored compiz-gnome but not compiz itself, it works but gnome-window-decorator was gone I did Installed the following packages by using synapric: compiz (1:0.8.4-0ubuntu15) compiz-gnome (1:0.8.4-0ubuntu15) will see if it works
