Well, the feature as presented gives the wrong idea. It does indeed not sync automatcially, but automatically ;) i.e. it will not run in background and sync subsequently, but set the time automatically at the time apply or ok gets clicked.
So, it is really just a GUI for ntpdate. At the very least the labeling should explain this a bit clearer, at teh very best it should do this AND autosync time.
