I just upgraded the machine (canth) to Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid). The new
kernel, 2.6.32-19.28, causes the machine to immediately reboot. It will
sit there continually rebooting in an infinite cycle. So far the old
2.6.28-15.52 kernel appears to still be stable, although with much
degraded functionality.

What is wrong with these newer 2.6.31 and 2.6.32 kernels on this
hardware? What should I check to find out?
