I just upgraded the machine (canth) to Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid). The new kernel, 2.6.32-19.28, causes the machine to immediately reboot. It will sit there continually rebooting in an infinite cycle. So far the old 2.6.28-15.52 kernel appears to still be stable, although with much degraded functionality.
What is wrong with these newer 2.6.31 and 2.6.32 kernels on this hardware? What should I check to find out? -- After upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10, system locks up hard with kernel 2.6.31-14.48, works fine with 2.6.28-15.52 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/482586 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
