A similar bug is still present (at least with the Radiance theme) for the option choice indicators in menus. There is the low contrast situation of a white dot on a grey background. I was unable to get a screenshot of this, but have a look at the View menu of the calculator for an example. This can also be seen in the panel's display rotation menu.
