Enabling jumbo frames on a Intel 82573V NIC fails in Lucid:
# ifconfig eth2 mtu 9000
SIOCSIFMTU: Invalid argument
This worked in Jaunty (not sure about Karmic - I skipped this on this
computer).

the 82573V gives above error message.
