Public bug reported:
After installing ubuntu feisty herd 5, I updated through update-manager
which failed when updating gnome-pilot.
Update-manager gives a message to check with apt-get what's wrong
Typing: " $ sudo apt-get check "
Gives:
Reading package lists... Error!
E: Problem parsing dependency Depends
E: Error occurred while processing gnome-pilot (NewVersion1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/dpkg/status
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
