Yes, I am also still affected by the bug. Maybe it isn't caused by high
cpu usage, I'll have to check that again. Maybe it is caused by the open
source radeon driver.
Anyways, I am still able to work around the problem when I minize the
installer for some seconds whenever I clicked to proceed to the next
step. The problem only happens due to the installer being fullscreen.
