Binary package hint: vnc4server
I used nautilus as the report vehicle, but the problem is with
vnc4server.

burd...@riposo:~$ vncserver :61
xauth: timeout in locking authority file
/var/run/gdm/auth-for-root-w4YUMp/database
Found /usr/share/vnc/classes for http connections.

See the appended screenshot.
Of course *burdi01* cannot lock the *root* authority file.
As an aside: This is still RealVNC 4.1.1, but 4.1.3 has been available
for "ages" already.
