The sysctl command worked, but I _want_ my drive to auto close the way it used too. Is there a way I can trace who(what application) is messing with my drive?
I've stopped udev, I stopped hal, I stopped nautilus. Still the drive closes, this indicates that some applications is opening the device? I'm concerned about extra IO interfering with disk burns. -- CD-ROM tray closes automatically after eject https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/283316 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
