Thanks for attaching the logs, but your environment is totally different now and whatever problem you had in the original bug report is almost certainly not the same or it is not a graphics subsystem related bug. Is there a reason you are forcing vesa in xorg.conf while you have fglrx installed? Can you suspend/resume with fglrx or radeon (not vesa) now? If it was because of the crashes with fglrx for the past few days that should be fixed in the newest version just released a few hours ago (version 2:8.723.1-0ubuntu1)
