Thank you for reporting this issue. With the development version, there
have been many changes since you reported this issue. I have attempted
to reproduce it using a installed version of lucid from 2010-04-12. I
can not reproduce this bug. The option remains active through complete
restarts for me. Could you test this and let me know if it is fixed for
you?
