I can confirm Johns observation - checking crossfading does make play
work, but not for long time.
Suddenly the player does not know my samsung device anymore:
[ 3553.052194] __ratelimit: 21 callbacks suppressed
[ 3553.052206] hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port 2 disabled
[ 3554.980091] hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port 2 disabled
[ 3556.901505] hub 1-0:1.0: connect-debounce failed, port 2 disabled
After reconnection the device and trying to play again rhytmbox
segfaults:
[ 3667.144316] rhythmbox[3677]: segfault at 74654d3b ip 01234f6b sp
bffb7acc error 4 in libc-2.10.1.so[11c2000+13e000]
So this is still a bug.
