I have an HP Pavilion dv5 with an integrated webcam. This issue affects
Karmic and Lucid beta2. I have a Lexmark x5650 that works perfectly on
another machine with Lucid beta2.
The preferences option in simple-scan only lists the webcam, not the
scanner. However, when I run sane-find-scanner, it does detect the
Lexmark with the following output:
found USB scanner (vendor=0x043d [Lexmark], product=0x013f [5600-6600
Series]) at libusb:002:007
