Binary package hint: slocate
I on occasion I have people asking me why their computer is so slow.
And I have to bring up a terminal and check the process list to figure
it out. I think using cfq and ionice -c3 on slocate will help
considerably.
Reporting it in the slocate package, as I cant think of any other
default package that eats a ton of io/cpu resources.
