Binary package hint: specimen
It looks like dapper has specimen 4.5, while there is a newer version 5.1 which
has improved a lot (als performance!). I can install it from the debian
unstable repository (with libphat also from debian unstable). Versoin 5.1
should really be the default for the next ubuntu release
