You are running the version of ubuntu One from the PPA. This is the newer
version of Ubuntu One. This version has replaced the applet with the Ubuntu One
Preferences Panel. You can access this through System > Preferences > Ubuntu
One. Also I noticed you are not running the latest version from that
repository. Likely when you updated it disabled the Ubuntu One repository. to
make sure you have the latest version with all the bug fixes please run the
following command in a Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuone/beta && sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get upgrade
Please let us know how this goes. After making new comments you can
change the 'Status' of your bug back to 'New'. The status of a bug
report can be modified by clicking on the current status in the yellow
line, which will reveal a sub menu. You can then set a new status in the
drop down box.
