since jockey version 0.5.8-0ubuntu7 both available NVidia drivers (current and 173) are activated, but not in use. I have never installed any NVidia driver. (it shows the same when running the live cd). The only way to activate the driver is to remove both drivers (in jockey- gtk) and activate the right one.
