** Description changed:

- Since Ubuntu 9.10 Compiz became to detect monitor's refresh rate incorrectly,
so the performance became very low by default.
- My monitor works at 60 Hz (or 60.02 as the NVidia Settings tool says), when
Compiz choose 50 Hz by default. Also choosing synchronizing with Vblank doesn't
help to get rid of tearing.
+ Compiz detects monitor's refresh rate incorrectly, so the performance is very
low with default settings.
+ My monitor works at 60 Hz (or 60.02 as the NVidia Settings tool says), when
Compiz choose 50 Hz by default. Also when synchronization with Vblank is
enabled, in some cases tearing disappears, but sometimes lags just getting more
terrible.

  Monitor: ViewSonic VA702
