You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: software-center
I'm using Ubuntu Lucid Beta 10.04 on x86_64. I used Ubuntu Software Centre to install kaffeine - it installed ok but when I actually go to use Kaffeine program and set all the DVB channels set up and select a channel to watch, it came up with the error of "cannot find demux plugin .....MRL:kaffeine path etc" The "Cannot find demux plugin" has been reported but I think it is related to kaffeine not installed correctly through the ubuntu software centre. I uninstalled kaffeine from the ubuntu software centre and installed it via Ubuntu community of Kaffeine, here ....https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Kaffeine. It worked! So hence I think there is something missing from Ubuntu software centre when installing Kaffeine - please correct it asap.
