I should also mention that there's no indication in the log file that the NVIDIA driver is related. I don't think any of the usual suspects, like crashes (SEGV or BUS), unresolved symbols (ABRT), or divides by zero (FPE), can be blamed here. I would guess that some external program is sending SIGQUIT to the server.
