The only way to include the options from /etc/default/nfs-common is by
switching the 'exec' back to a 'script' in the upstart job, and that
tickles bug #545673, so this won't be fixed.
/etc/init/gssd.conf is a conffile; you can edit it directly just as you
would edit /etc/default/nfs-common, and your changes will be preserved.
