After installing the mainline kernel from here: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/daily/current/ the problem still persists - 60 seconds after boot, the crash appears.
I'm not 100% sure but that probably means the needs-upstream-testing tag can be removed - maybe someone else should confirm first? Are most people with the bug running the netbook edition? I know mine (eeePC 1005HA) has some hardware issues with the microphone and pulse audio - I'm using pavumeter and pavucontrol to shut off one of the microphone channels. I could try reverting to the default installation but at the moment I need the use of the microphone. (It seems like a sound problem from the bug description) -- WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.32/kernel/softirq.c:143 local_bh_enable_ip+0x61/0x90() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/561125 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
