Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntu-wallpapers

In a recent update, I found that backgrounds from the Karmic version of
ubuntu-wallpapers were deleted. While I think the new backgrounds in
this package are excellent, I also liked several of the backgrounds in
the older version of the package, and I was surprised to find them gone.
I think it's likely that others will also miss those backgrounds.

Would it be possible to add a package to the repositories with the
Karmic backgrounds? And, would it be possible to have it as a recommend
for upgrades, or otherwise avoid give users a straightforward way to
retain those backgrounds?

** Affects: ubuntu-wallpapers (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
