Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Ubuntu 8.10 will be end of life at the end of this month, therefore we
are closing this bug report. Feel free to reopen this issue or report a new bug
if you still can reproduce with a supported release, it would help us greatly
if you could test with the live environment of the desktop cd of the soon to be
released Lucid Lynx. Make sure to include as a minimum the apport-collect
information and your cups error_log as described in
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems and requested in a previous
comment by Till.

It is better to file a seperate bug report with the above minimum information
and a good description if you still can reproduce in a supported release, since
it is difficult to tell without any further information if you are facing the
same problem as Sergey.
