I have been browsing different websites in multiple tabs of a single Firefox session. In one tab I am streaming radio from BBC iPlayer.
I am fine to open other tabs and navigate around the websites, but on three different occasions today the PC unexpectedly has gone into a hung state although the audio continues to play. The clock also freezes when the session goes into a hung state. From that point I cannot control any of the PC functions using the mouse or keyboard and I have had to do a force shut-down by pressing and holding power button on PC. After restarting the PC the Firefox tabs will reopen and the audio will resume from the point at when the PC crashed. I did install some Firefox updates today, but think I have had this problem occur very rarely prior to installing the updates today. I have tested with not having Pidgin and Evolution Mail running at the same and the problem still occurs. -- after i have visited a few site that steam audio like npr or pandora it fails to load any longer. after closing ff it remains running in the background and i must force quit before it allows me to open it again. also crashes when i log in and out of some site multiple times. this kinda sucks, i love ff. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522415 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
