Hi Milan, Sorry I have no idea what is being shipped with Ubuntu. Certainly abiword-2.8 has far better odt support than 2.6.x. I make development builds of abiword all the time and odt support works very well. I use abiword-2.8.4 several times a day for real work in Fedora 12 where odt and docx support works fine. I wrote of what my guess of what the issue was (no opendocument plugins) if it is not that I'm stumped.
