Well... the colorscheme specified on the KDE system settings was also without effect, and this bug was affecting the GTK apps.
By the way... I could solve the problem by setting the widget style in the menu GTK Appearance, in the KDE System Settings, instead of doing it manually in the file .gtkrc-2.0-kde4, which apparently changed the specification between this and the last version of KDE.
