I've got a few suggestions, though. First, you definitely want to be up to date with Bindwood. I have been concentrating on getting it working best on Lucid, and haven't filed the SRU for Karmic yet, but I do maintain a PPA with both karmic and lucid packages: ppa:urbanape/bindwood-exp The latest for lucid is 1.0.4-0ubuntu2~ppa~lucid and the latest for karmic (for reasons of a packaging snafu on my part) is 1.0.4-0ubuntu3~ppa~karmic > I have two machines, a PC with Lucid and a notebook with Karmic, both > have Ubuntu One installed and where added to my account. The only official packages for Karmic are 0.4.2 and earlier, which use a pre-1.0 schema. Here's what I'd suggest to get some diagnostics going: * In Firefox on both machines, navigate to about:config and add a boolean preference called bindwood.debug and set it to True (won't affect the current 0.4.2 on your Karmic notebook, but will make it possible to collect debug info when you upgrade it) * Add my PPA to your software sources, and update xul-ext-bindwood on both machines. * Stop both Firefoxes * Start Firefox on the notebook and open the Javascript console * Wait until it's finished (you'll hopefully get timed pull entries in the console) before starting it on the other machine. So how can I find out what's wrong? Where can I see which bookmarks are > actually stored online? To see your bookmarks in Couch, you can navigate to your desktopcouch's futon view: $ xdg-open file://$HOME/.local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html We're currently building a web UI for the one.ubuntu.com site as well.
