I switched from Fedora to Ubuntu about a year ago because of several
flaws in Fedora - especially mobile internet was simply impossible to
get to work - at least for me with my modem. Other applications I liked
to use were not in the repository, sound problems with Skype - should I
continue? - Maybe that all got fixed but a year ago Ubuntu was IMHO the
clear favorite.

In the meantime I am also actively participating in our local Ubuntu
community meeting once a month. Did a brief research for something
comparable for Fedora or RedHat without success. - I think, sooo easy -
at least for me - it is not to switch.
