I couldn't reproduce problem following steps in #563163 because of dependencies. I also can't reproduce the problem I was experiencing. I tried installing/removing different applications to see if it would happen, but haven't seen it.
Maybe an update I did since then fixed whatever the problem might have been, or maybe the problem I was experiencing was only happening when I had another particular piece of software open that was conflicting with it? Or could it have been something with Compiz?
