Here is what appears in my /var/log/kern.log each time it crashes :

Apr 21 16:37:45 gawell-desktop kernel: [197772.951413] [drm] nouveau
0000:00:05.0: nouveau_channel_free: freeing fifo 1
Apr 21 16:37:47 gawell-desktop kernel: [197774.538296] [drm] nouveau
0000:00:05.0: Allocating FIFO number 1
Apr 21 16:37:47 gawell-desktop kernel: [197774.538945] [drm] nouveau
0000:00:05.0: nouveau_channel_alloc: initialised FIFO 1

Since I upgraded to the last kernel, the message "coud not write
bytes..." does not appear anymore, but I have a new error screen
instead, where it's written something about a kernel oops. This screen
just stay for one second or less, so I cannot read what is written. Then
my ubuntu start again (it comes back to my desktop, and all my
applications are closed, as if I just booted).

My crashes always appear when I'm using firefox, during the load of a
page (pages at allocine.fr usually cause a crash).

Well, did someone read what I've been reporting ?...
