edit the file /etc/init.d/spampd change only the first line from #!/bin/sh -e to #!/bin/bash then you should be able to remove the old package dpkg --remove spampd -- [SRU] spampd 2.30 https://launchpad.net/bugs/76861 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
