** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: hplip

See also bug 506306, which was closed without discussion (why?) or solution.
Same situation, same crash. This happens once of twice a day.

(following text copied from 506306 and edited)

Running Lucid AMD64 on a Dell 131L laptop, updated at least twice a day.

Wasn't doing anything in particular, just some surfing with Tbird in the
background.
Currently surfing on Firefox / Namoroka 3.6.1pre, so not exactly stock.
This crash report came up, but I'm not noticing something broken right now.

HPlip seems to work fine, I don't know why it suggests the bug is in
  HPlip.

  cheers
  Tom
