Here is what I did

1. killall gnome-settings-daemon gnome-power-manager

2. ev | sed -n 's/^.*state \([0-9].*\), keycode *\([0-9]\+\) *\(.*\),
.*$/keycode \2 = \3, state = \1/p'

keycode 33 = (keysym 0x70, p), state = 0x40
keycode 33 = (keysym 0x70, p), state = 0x40
keycode 133 = (keysym 0xffeb, Super_L), state = 0x40

3. gconf-editor

> apps > gnome_settings_daemon > keybinding

This application does not appear to display an entry for the keybinding
in question (enable external monitor). What should it be called?

Ive also attached the suggested files.

Does this help?
