I can also confirm this problem. I imported contacts into the default
resources ( named Personal Contacts by Akonadi) and that worked except
for the " cannot find resource agents proble which needs two restarts".
I then created another addess book and imported another vcard file. I
decided the second address book is the better one and deleted the first
addres book. This resulted in two problems.
1. I now could not access any contacts in email. There is no connection between
contcats and the email addresses.
2. I tried to create another addres book to import another vcard file and that
timed out with message :Could not add address book: Agent instance creation
timed out."
I did a clean install and reformatted my / and /home directories to start
everything new. I have the latest 10.4 LTS beta2 software.
This is a problem which must be fixed before release because it will create
chaos when people try to import their data and affect also the email program
