More recent versions have made a few changes. I've added buttons, so
that when you select the free space entry, a "New partition" button
appears at the bottom. I think that should be a sufficient visual cue,
but would like feedback.
Furthermore, pressing the Forward button on the "Prepare partitions"
page should now produce an immediate error to the effect that you didn't
select a root file system.
